Did you read the book, “The Secret” or watched the movie (with the same name) then you have heard of the Law of Attraction, as well. The Law of Attraction is not something that simple and you have to put a little effort into it.
What is the Law of Attraction?
The Law of Attraction was based on the New Thought which is a spiritual belief from the teachings of Phineas Quimby. The belief is that your thoughts can affect your outcome. For example, if your thoughts are negative, then you attract negative energy to you. Likewise, if your thoughts are positive then good positive energy flows your way. The universe doesn’t know the difference between positive and negative thoughts. It only knows the thoughts.
The idea with using the Law of Attraction, is to affect the change, but the feelings must accompany it too along with using creative visualization. Combined with the feelings, visualization, and positive thoughts, it attracts energetic universal energy.
There are techniques that you can use to make the Law of Attraction work for you so that you can get what you want out of life. Here are three tips to start.
#1 Learn How to Meditate and Use Creative Visualization
First and foremost, if you are interested in utilizing the Law of Attraction to its fullest potential, make sure that you begin each day with meditation. Meditation is important as it brings your focus toward what you desire and what you expect for that day.
Creative Visualization is a powerful tool in creating the feelings behind the desire. It is not enough to just meditate on something you wish to attract into your life, visualizing brings it to life.
Creative Visualization takes it one step further by incorporating the feelings you are feeling as you see yourself.

- Increase your financial status
As you embrace the feelings of joy and happiness, you will see that more joy and happiness will enter your life. Creating visualization makes this happen by using your emotions as triggers.
#2 Learn the Art of Being Grateful
To be grateful means, you truly understanding how much we already do have without asking for more. When you are in a state of gratitude, many more things to be grateful for, come our way.
Stand up and look around you, there is so much to be grateful for. When you start to understand the simple blessing such as butterflies or flowers that envelope your life, you will feel more joy. Once you feel more joy, you will manifest more joyful events in your life.
#3 Write Your Thoughts and Affirmations
If you really want to get the most out of the Law of Attraction, then you must consciously control your own thoughts daily. It helps to see the reminder on paper or in your journal. In this way, when you write down a negative thought or feeling, you can see it and replace it with a positive affirmation. Sometimes you must control your thoughts on a moment-by-moment basis.
If you find yourself going into negative or self-sabotaging thoughts, you need to take responsibility in several ways.
- Think positively
- Concentrate on all that you are grateful for
- Tell yourself positive affirmations
An example of using an affirmation is when you think negatively, you will need to replace it with a positive affirmation. So, if you think you lack money, replace that negative thought to “income comes from everywhere”. Or “I am living in abundance, daily”.
Another example of affirmation is if you are experiencing a health challenge, maybe try to get motivated to get back to the gym and work out. The affirmation you might say to yourself is, “I’m getting healthier every day and achieving my health goals.”
